TFL's Forecasting Techniques
Technical Forecasts Limited (TFL) supplies data forecasting services
and products based strictly on non-linear, DATA-LED forecasting techniques.
The significance of this approach to forecasting
is that it is
- based exclusively on historical data
- does not include any subjectivity that is inherent in other forecast
modelling techniques
- uses non-linear models to represent non-linear data
- creates models that are proportionately complex to the data
How we do it
The TFL forecasting method is underpinned by three distinct but interdependent
techniques.
- Unique identification and classification of
only the parallel data series that
have strong associations with the target data series
- Creation of forecasting models that are proportionately
complex for the data series
- Error cancellation using multiple
models and sophisticated, proprietary averaging techniques produces
accurate and legitimate forecasts up to 5 years forward.
These ground-breaking techniques are combined in such a fashion as to
make the very best projection of available data. The resulting forecasts
can then be applied by experts in their fields alongside traditional
methods to improve the decision-making process.
