About TFLTechnical Forecasts Limited (TFL) has provided data forecasting services on a consulting basis since 1988. More recently, the TFL technical team has sufficiently developed the forecasting and data handling capabilities so that reliable mass forecasting is now a reality. Over 1.5 million forecasts are rigorously produced and distributed each month. This mass forecasting capability is clearly recognised both by TFL's current IndexEye clientele and to partners for our residential forecasts. Corporate HistoryTFL was originally founded in 1988 as a high-tech start up. By 1990 its activities had evolved into artificial intelligence applications, which led to the present team, who were independently involved in the field, becoming acquainted. We have a commitment to scientific activity, in the certain knowledge that it will continue to yield new tools for the property profession. Our background is one of many years of experience in advanced mathematical research, and considerable expertise in its application to property price and related forecasting. Our quest for objective results has led us to develop techniques which mass-produce property price forecasts, results of which are now available to professionals seeking intelligence for their property-related decisions. These techniques have been in successful commercial use since October 2000. We expect their usage to grow, both as a result of professional recommendations, acting as the industry benchmarking tool, and as the advantages of decision-making assisted by intelligent forecasting become ever more self-evident. The strength of TFL’s success lies in our scientific credibility, our knowledge of customer requirements, and our advanced computer processes which enable complex data modelling to be carried out on a vast scale. TFL continues to share a close working relationship with researchers at the Neural Computing Research Group (NCRG) at Aston University. The link to Aston allows TFL to keep abreast of the latest technology. It also serves to provide a verification of the effectiveness and validity of processes developed by TFL. |
